Winter Routines
The winter routines handles daily accumulation of snowpack, compaction & settling, and snowmelt. It tracks snowpack layer
temperatures and liquid moisture content. It tracks soil temperature and moisture content for the soil profile and the freeze
thaw process. The presence of frozen or previously frozen soil layers is used to adjust the curve number and soil erodibility
(K-factor) for potential sheet & rill erosion.
